n my youthful years, I was the neighborhood dog rescuer, bringing them

The Beginning of Arista

home with me, and just plain infatuated with them!

In my family there was a natural love of dogs, my mother bred poodles and I would groom them at a very young age. During this same period of time, I was able to meet, travel, and apprentice, under one of the most esteemed poodle handlers of the time. From there I grew to meet, work, and learn from some of the most talented, and successful handlers in the dog show world.

In 1986, I became involved with Dobermans in conformation and obedience. Amoung my accomplishments with Dobermans, I had three AKC Champions.

One year while on the Eastern/Washington dog show circuit, I was watching the Best in Show, my eye was captured by the Frenchie, and I knew then and even now "it's all the dog I would ever need".

Hence, my love of this breed.

Arista breeds quality French Bulldogs for conformation, health, soundness, and companionship. Arista is not a kennel. The Frenchies live with us as part of our family. An Arista puppy comes to you with some house manners and ready to give you all their love and Frenchies kisses.

Arista French Bulldogs began in 1994 with the purchase of Buffy - Ch Finch's Golden Nugget, as the foundation bitch.

Of the Arista French Bulldogs produced since 1994 - to date more than 80% are champions with more on the way -see Future Stars .

I was the co-chairperson for the 2002 French Bulldog Club of America National Specialty in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am involved in rescue with the French Bulldog Rescue League.

I use my handling skills at helping Frenchies get their share of fame in the show ring. I am available to help finish any quality Frenchie or teach you t

o finish your own.

So you can see here at Arista, we strive for QUALITY not quantity. Arista means “The Best of the Best” in Greek.
